is a BC Licensed Security Company
We provide professional, cost effective and timely commercial security solutions to businesses in the North Shuswap,
including Chase, Sorrento and Blind Bay.
We are licensed under the Security Services Act of British Columbia’s Ministry of Justice, and carry liability insurance and WorkSafe BC for all our employees. All of our staff are BC Licensed Security Guards and each person has been fingerprinted with the RCMP and drive well-marked GPS monitored vehicles.

RESPONSE PREPARATION
(New Clients Only)
Preparation of a detailed, individual security plan for your Business. Onsite visit is required. Compiling photos and locations of your alarms, doors, windows, and anything we will need to check.
Documenting all the patrols including photographs and any unusual circumstances, emailed upon completion.
Two 12” square Signs and stickers (upon request) indicating premises patrolled by Newscapes Security. (Additional signs available for purchase for $25 each)
Security and management of clients’ keys, access cards or fobs for entry to their property.
Patrol vehicle is well marked with decals and is equipped with a GPS.
Night patrols take place between 9pm and 7am.
Why does our community need security?
Our communities are experiencing a Homeless issue, like never before. People are being “pushed” from larger cities and are now settling in our communities.
We are facing an unprecedented drug epidemic and are dealing with the side effects.
Insurance Policies are requiring regular patrols to ensure a claim is covered. It is the policy holder’s responsibility to know their coverage. Premiums reflect the level of security you provide.
Since our RCMP are not always able to respond immediately, we assist by collecting information, high quality photos and reporting suspicious activity to aid in their investigations.
Alarm Responses – we will respond to your alarm and remain on scene until property is secure.
Newscapes Security offers a VISUAL PRESENCE in our communities to help keep your business safe and secure.
The population in our communities is increasing. With the Real Estate market booming, people are buying and selling their property building our communities with members we haven’t met.
Our communities are considered “Remote” compared to cities. Our policing is dependent on our RCMP Detachment who are stretched to the limit.
Some of our community members are “snowbirds” traveling elsewhere during the colder months. We have unoccupied properties year-round which attract crimes of opportunity.
